I worked as copywriter, editor and project manager at Time Out on three editions of this 60-page booklet for HSBC.

Each edition of the ‘HSBC Guide to London’ had a circulation of one million copies, which were distributed at London airports as part of the bank’s ‘World’s Local Bank’ campaign. The task was to come up with copy that was insidery and entertaining, without alienating people – and in particular people who didn’t speak English as a first language.

I researched, wrote, edited, and checked all the copy, while liaising with the client to make sure they were happy with the final product. Which they were: I went on to edit the two subsequent editions.
